Mentsh of the Day!

Have you ever heard of the Biblioburro? No? Well there's this guy in the country of Columbia who goes around with thousands of books that he has gotten donated to him through friends and people he knows and takes them to small towns where literacy is at 0 and teaches poor Columbian kids how to read on his weekends.
Could you imagine loading up two old Burros with hundreds of books at 4AM on a Thursday to get to the small town you're headed to which may be a 12 hour Burro ride through brush and cliffs, boulders and bandidos (or bandits) just to educate and better the lives of children who otherwise could grown up completely illeterate? I certainly could not, but that's what Luis Soriano does with his traveling library.
This guy's library includes childrens books as well as stuff to teach adults to read and since he was already a graduated Spanish professor, who better to make people's lives better? He's broken bones and torn muscles and all kinds of injuries have been placed upon him, but at the same time he still thinks about these people that can't read.
I mean really, if we all just took time out of our busy schedules to try and help those that need someone to read to them or spend half an hour teaching a kid their abc's maybe the world would not be so judgemental of "poor and illeterate" is so horrible compared to "smart and rich"...
We are one world, so that's why Luis Soriano is token Mentsh for today.
